Hi Patrick,


Bought a w395 supposedly unlocked phone on ebay, when I turned it on it asked for and said PIN ok. Then It said to insert correct si card. What does this mean?? :confused::confused::confused: Thanks in advance.

"Insert correct sim" means it's still locked unfortunately. Although we can unlock it if you need it done.

Posted the phones today Patrick. 4 in all, two for unlocking one with what I hope is only dust around ear piece area and one that went blank on me. Everyrthing is on the forms. I used normal post so it might b monday before they arrive. I'll be using paypal to pay. Thanks again.

Hi Pat,

Both the Nokia 3110c & SE W395 are unlocked. I'll have a look at the SE W910i on Tuesday. The SE W580i, this phone shows liquid damaged, the indicator is red, example;

You said you bought the phone on eBay, did you notices problems with the phone when you got it first?, or do you think you got the phone wet somehow since then?

I took it out of the box and was setting time, date etc. when it gave up.
3 mins is all. Is it a write off???:(

Personally, I'd be contacting the seller to get a full refund and send the phone back to them. They obviously falsely advertised the item.

I'm not saying it can't be repaired, just saying why should you pay to have it repaired?

Send it back, save yourself the money and hassle of any future issues with this phone.

I can't, I've had it for a while and they are no longer registered users on Ebay.:( If its going to cost a lot I'll leave it and sell it on as ''spares or repair''.

I have the W580 working now. The W910 needs a part replaced, the cost of the part and fitting the part will cost €35.

This is your bill thus far;

SE W395 unlock = €25-25%= €18.75
SE W580 flash/unlock = €25-25%= 18.75
Nokia 3110c unlock = €20-25%= €15.00

Subtotal: €52.50

If you go with the repair of the SE W910 your total would be, €87.50.

Do you want me to go ahead with the repair of the SE W910?, also do you want me to return the other 3 phones in the meantime?
