hi patrick

i was recently given a new nokia 7230, which is registered to vodafone. i was in england last week and a guy there told me he couldn't unlock it with a cable (something to do with it being a new phone type..i can't remember his terminology) and it would have to be sent to nokia for unlocking!

can you do it? if so, how much? the model number isn't listed on your pricing thread.

also, the last phone i had unlocked (also by you in your phonexpo days) wouldn't send or receive mms messages, which is a common problem from what i gather. would debranding take care of this on the new phone?

cheers

Hi,

Welcome to the forum.

Yes we can unlock the Nokia 7230, I've just added it to the Pricing & Discounts (http://www.mobilephonesolutions.ie/forum/showthread.php?32) thread.
