Saving SMS messages

Hi Patrick,

Is there any way to move SMS messages from one phone to another? I know I can just send them as a text but not from the same number then and date is changed.

Hi Patrick,

Phone i had was an LG Cookie. There is an option to move messages to the SIM so i tried this, but when I put it into my current phone (Nokia 7310) the messages weren't there. I know my SIM card is very old so could it be something to do with this?

You could use the program MyPhoneExplorer (http://www.fjsoft.at/en/downloads.php), it's developed for Sony Ericsson phones, but it may work with your LG. You could also try LG Phone Manager 1.5.0.25 (http://www.soft-go.com/dapp/21689). I'm nearly positive SMS don't save to the sim.

Thanks, Ill try those and get back to you. Not very confident though. It doesnt seem like its possible!
