iPhone 4 - buy pay as you go to use on your existing bill pay account

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone has bought a pay as you go iPhone4 on the three network and then just used it with their bill pay sim?

I'm looking at doing this and just transferring my existing three sim card into the pay as you go iPhone so I don't end up with all the extra charges associated with the bill pay upgrades etc Would you still need to get the iPhone unlocked or would it be ok if using the same network?

Any help with this would be much appreciated!

Hi,

Welcome to the forum.

Bill pay or PAYG wouldn't make a difference once the simcard belongs to the same network and country. So you wouldn't need it unlocked unless you wanted to use another network.
