The price we charge to unlock a phone is determined by the security that is on your phone we can determine this by three things;

Make
Model
Software Version
We do not base the unlocking price on the cost of the mobile phone. So it doesn't make a difference how much you paid for your phone as the cost of unlocking is determined by the security on your phone.

No, unfortunately not. We cannot unlock this phone physically in our shop therefore we have to buy unlock codes for this model from a 3rd party. Although we should be able to unlock it in our shop in the coming weeks, if you wish to wait until then we can then offer you the Ten €uro Thursday unlocking offer.

The Nokia N97 Mini is not included in this offer. Nokia N97 Mini unlock is €60, as a MPS forum customer you will receive a 15% discount. Nokia N97 Mini unlock can take 3 to 10 days.

Thank you, we received your phones this morning. I just want to clarify some things with you before we proceed with the work on your phones;

1. You left a note in with your phones saying that the GPS had stopped working on the phone after a week, but neither the Nokia 6234 (http://www.gsmarena.com/nokia_6234-1388.php) nor Nokia 1616 (http://www.gsmarena.com/nokia_1616-3007.php) have the GPS feature, so I'm not exactly sure what you mean on the note?
2. You attached €20 to the service form but the total of the services you require that you wrote on the service form total to €40;

What are you talking about? Igors did not say price is still too high. He said 40 was too high and I lowered the price by 10 euro and he said thank you. We are trying to run a business not a charity. You have absolutely no idea how much it costs us to unlock these phones and we make a few euro profit on each of these SL3 unlocks. Have you tried another unlocking company for a price for the same service? I think you'll find they are much more expensive than us. If you don't want to pay our prices no body is forcing you too, they're completely optional.

Hi,

Welcome to the forum.

What 99% of people don't know is, that the unlocking code that the network provides is actually in 99/100 cases the correct code. With any Nokia since the Nokia 6610i in 2004 you only have 3 attempts of entering the correct unlocking code, after this you will need to have it cable unlocked.

If you still have the unlocking code that Meteor provided you we can enter this code via cable ad unlock the phone, as Nokia themselves would. If the code you provide does unlock your phone we will only charge a flat fee of €15. This process takes 5 minutes.

The cost of debrading the Nokia E5 is €20.

Cost of this service is €25 per phone.

There are no discounts off this service.

Is the network unlocking code permanent or do you have to enter it each time you turn on phone and can you get the code via internet or do you have to bring phone to shop. Please and thank you:confused:

I sold a Blackberry bold 9790 to a pal of mine that I bought from the uk, it was supposed to be factory unlocked but seems to be locked to vodafone. He cant get the MEP Reader to work, so can you do it in the shop? and how long does it take and how much? I will have to pay it for him so can I be contacted for payment details if he drops it in?

I just added the unlock cost for this model to the Pricing & Discounts (http://www.mobilephonesolutions.ie/forum/showthread.php?t=32) thread. Yes we can unlock it in store. The unlock process is 5 minutes. Regarding payment, I could send you an invoice via Paypal if you wish.
